Amphora 8.0 is a dynamic online game that brings together players from different parts of the world, combining competition and cooperation. To ensure a fair and enjoyable gaming experience for everyone, we have established the following rules.
Amphora 8.0 reserves the right to take action against disruptive behavior in the game, on the official website, and in any other part of its services. Violations may result in warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans. A 999-day ban may result in the eventual deletion of the affected character.
In specific situations, additional measures may be taken to correct imbalances caused by rule violations. These measures may include changes to a character’s attributes, the partial or complete removal of items, or the deletion of a character.
Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to, the following:
a) Offensive Names
Names that are insulting, racist, sexually explicit, drug-related, harassing, or otherwise objectionable are prohibited.
b) Names Containing Forbidden Advertising
Names that advertise third-party brands, products, or services, content unrelated to the game, or trades involving real money are prohibited.
c) Unsuitable Names
Names that express religious or political views are prohibited.
d) Invalid Name Format
Names containing sentence fragments, nonsensical combinations of letters, or inappropriate formatting are not allowed. Examples include “Ehaushsid” and “Ma-th’eus”.
e) Names Encouraging Rule Violations
Names that encourage or promote rule violations, such as “Bot”, are prohibited.
f) Impersonating the Administration
Names that falsely suggest membership in the administration or an official server role, including names containing titles such as “Adm” or “GM”, are prohibited.
a) Offensive Statements
Insulting, racist, sexually explicit, drug-related, harassing, or otherwise objectionable statements are prohibited. Threatening another player with real-life harm is a serious violation and may result in severe penalties.
b) Spamming
Excessively repeating identical or similar statements, flooding channels, or posting nonsensical or deliberately disruptive text is prohibited.
c) Advertising
Advertising third-party brands, products, services, or content unrelated to the game is prohibited.
Advertising trades involving real money is not allowed. This includes offers to buy or sell Amphora 8.0 items, characters, or accounts for real money.
d) Off-Topic Public Statements
Religious or political discussions, as well as other statements unrelated to the purpose of the channel or board being used, are prohibited in public channels and boards.
e) Disclosing Other People’s Personal Information
Publishing or sharing another person’s private or personal information without their consent is prohibited.
f) Supporting Rule Violations
Statements that support, encourage, announce, or imply an intention to violate the Amphora 8.0 Rules are prohibited.
g) Destructive Behavior
Actions or abuses that disrupt the intended gameplay or deliberately harm the server or its players may be considered destructive behavior. Such cases will be assessed by a gamemaster.
The administration reserves the right to take action against other inappropriate behavior not explicitly listed in these rules.
h) Blocking Protection Zones
Using one character or a group of characters to completely block protection-zone entrances or exits, preventing players from passing through, is prohibited.
i) Blocking Areas on Rookgaard
Blocking passages on Rookgaard in a way that leaves other players with no possibility of passing is prohibited. Repeated violations may result in progressively longer bans.
j) Private Shops
Using more than one character to operate private shops at the same location is prohibited.
a) Bug Abuse
Exploiting obvious errors or unintended behavior in the game, website, or any other part of the Amphora 8.0 services is prohibited.
b) Unofficial Software and Client Manipulation
Manipulating the official game client or using unauthorized software to perform in-game actions is prohibited. This includes bots, macros, automation tools, and other programs that play the game or provide an unfair advantage.
Prohibited gameplay tools must not be run while playing Amphora 8.0, including in the background or for use on another server.
Running the game client inside a virtual machine is also prohibited.
Violations may result in bans on all accounts belonging to the offending player.
c) Multi-Clienting
Each person may have only one character online at a time, regardless of the number of computers, accounts, or internet connections they use.
Multiple people may play from the same internet connection, provided that each person independently controls their own character. Claiming that another person is watching or controlling an additional character must not be used to disguise multi-clienting.
Closing a client while its character remains online and then logging in with another character also violates this rule. You must wait until the first character has fully logged out.
d) VPS, VPN, and Proxy Connections
Using a VPS, VPN, or proxy connection to remain online while making runes or setting traps is prohibited and may result in a ban.
This restriction also applies to services such as ExitLag, NoPing, and other proxy services that conceal the player’s real IP address.
a) Pretending to Be a Staff Member
Falsely claiming to represent Amphora 8.0, to have the administration’s authorization, or to possess staff privileges is prohibited.
b) Slandering or Agitating Against Amphora 8.0
Publishing knowingly false information about Amphora 8.0 or organizing calls to boycott its services is prohibited.
c) Providing False Information to the Administration
Intentionally providing false or misleading information in reports of rule violations, complaints, bug reports, or support requests is prohibited.
d) Threatening Staff Members
Threats directed at staff members, whether explicit or implied, are not tolerated. Attempts to influence the administration through blackmail are also prohibited.
e) Spreading False Information
Knowingly publishing false information about Amphora 8.0 or its staff may result in penalties against the responsible account.
a) Hacking and Account Theft
Stealing accounts, distributing phishing links, attempting to obtain another player’s login credentials, or attempting to compromise server systems to steal data is prohibited.
b) Attacking Amphora 8.0 Services
Attacking, disrupting, or damaging the operation of the game server, website, or any other Amphora 8.0 service is prohibited.
c) Payments
Fraudulent payments, fraudulent chargebacks, or other forms of payment abuse may result in the suspension or permanent blocking of the associated account.
d) Violating Laws or Third-Party Rights
Violating applicable laws, the Amphora 8.0 Service Agreement, or the rights of third parties is prohibited.
a) Excessive Player Killing
The server applies limits to player killing. Reaching the applicable limit may result in an automatic ban.
The limits are:
6 kills per day.
10 kills per week.
20 kills per month.
Violating or attempting to violate the Amphora 8.0 Rules may result in the temporary suspension of characters or accounts.
In serious cases, the administration may remove or modify character skills, attributes, or belongings, or permanently delete characters and accounts without in-game compensation.
Penalties depend on the seriousness of the violation and the player’s previous record. They are determined by the Amphora 8.0 administration and may be imposed without prior warning.
These rules may be updated at any time. Players are responsible for reviewing the current rules and complying with them while using Amphora 8.0 services.
